8 posts · Joined 2011. #1 · Sep 4, 2012. I have a 2005 5.7L Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee, limited, with a tow package. It has 91k miles. I put a cold air intake, diablo catch can, and diablo predator sport tuner on it. Shortly after installing the tuner it started giving me some trouble.

Rollin Discussion starter. 2771 posts · Joined 2007. #1 · Aug 31, 2014. My Jeep has the 5.7 Hemi. When I start the vehicle after cold soak, it revs up and then comes immediately down to normal idle. All other vehicles that I have owned idle high and then gradually reduce idle (including a 2011 wk2 with the hemi).

This applies to 5.7L Commanders 2006-2008, 5.7L and 6.1L 2005-2010 Grand Cherokees, as well as numerous other models and years (most models newer than 2008 seem to have it listed on parts breakdowns). If your vehicle's water pump part number is 04792838ab you will need idler pulley part number 4891720AA and the bolt part number is 6507929AA.

I'm trying to test the fuel pressure on my 2005 5.7L Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I can't find the fuel pressure test port. I have a Chilton's manual which shows the location on a 4.7L, but not for a 5.7L. I've looked over the entire engine and can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
